PURPOSE

Formed in July 2017 by Novalan Dorasamy. Individual and privately owned Singapore based wine merchant who started out as a sommelier by profession.

It is my belief that it is important to know our wines as it is to know our individual clients. Nova Cellar Selection wishes to represent the best of winemaking and are carefully selecting some of the world’s most exclusive wines and wineries to partner.

We work in close co-operation with winemakers, owners and négociant friends as we look to implement a global approach in the region, making Singapore our home base. We are in constant search of exceptional wines that has a sense of identity and belonging. We acknowledge the force of Mother Nature, the passion of the people and the hands of the artists behind the best of winemaking.

Some wineries which we represent comes from the most celebrated terroirs and vintners. Others are new, yet to be seen or made available in this part of our region. A few wineries we are in partner with produce wines in limited quantities and their demand well exceed their supply. As such instance, we request for access or allocation in whichever quantities permitted and purchase wines directly from the estates or through their partnered négociant. This is to enable us to extend the offering to the on-trade such as established hotels, restaurants, and wine bars (inaugural Michelin guide Singapore 2016) and ultimately to the end consumers.

The integrity at Nova Cellar Selection is to ensure a beginning-to-end quality assurance and control. This as well in providing a wine experience and a service to our clients with care and confidence.
